In our continuous efforts to improve the performance of our hot runner systems, we have recently made a number of improvements to our nozzles. The most important and substantial of these technical developments has been the insertion of a heat treated steel tube through the centre of the CuBe core. The addition of this steel tube now allows the use of very high injection pressures and at the same time, provides excellent abrasion resistance for processing highly filled materials.

In restricted areas or small parts injection and in applications where it is required to have the gate feed on an "inside" surface of the part (example caps), it is necessary to use small diameters and very long nozzles.

NOZZLE FOR DIRECT INJECTION
Nozzle for multicavity molds F1, FM-1
Single nozzle F6/1

This new nozzle type is provided with an interchangeable tip, could be supplied for not stiffened materials or for materials filled with abrasive fibers. This nozzle type is suitable for moulding parts where the injection point is reduced and for plastic materials which leave threads at the mould opening.  The type with the exit of the heater in the middle of the nozzle allows for heater replacement whilst the mould is assembled on the injection device.

This nozzle type is suitable for moulding parts where the injection point is reduced and for plastic materials which have the tendency to string or drool at the mould opening.

The extended profile nozzle is utilized in applications where it is desirable to have the gate feed on an "inside" surface of the part, or where fast cycles are needed. This nozzle has the same characteristics as the F1 nozzle. The type with the exit of the heater in the middle of the nozzle allows for heater replacement whilst the mould is assembled on the injection device.

Suitable for injection on sprues or for thick wall parts (over 4 mm), where the injection point aesthetics is not important. The injection point on the part will be visible and it will depend on the injection hole diameter.

This type of nozzle has the same characteristics as the F3 type. In addition it is suitable for moulding parts where the injection point is required to be sloping (max 20°).

The multipoint nozzle is used for the moulding of small precision parts, where the distance between the cavity axes is short, to allow small mould systems. This type of nozzle is also suitable to mould parts where concentricity is aided by feeding the component through multiple gates.

The nozzles for edge gate injection are used to inject into multiple cavities and also allow a smaller mould size. In certain applications, if the inside diameter of a round part is aplicable to our nozzle, this nozzle can be used to inject the part internally in order to archive good concentricity.
